Teach By Tech, Inc is an independent 501(c)(3) organization established in August of 2016 to provide economic empowerment programs for vulnerable and marginalized populations in the Denver metro area. Our target audience is adult refugees and immigrant English language learners. We believe that adult literacy is essential for refugees and immigrants to find sustainable employment, access healthy living and successfully integrate into the U.S. Our courses take a holistic approach to literacy incorporating traditional literacy, numeracy, technology and life skills into each class. These are necessary elements for life-long independence, autonomy, and freedom. Data indicates about 50 percent of the 2 million immigrants that come to the U.S. each year lack high school education and proficient English language skills. Immigrants and refugees, particularly those with limited English proficiency, face challenges in accessing job opportunities, utilizing digital tools or navigating and fully participating in the U.S. financial system. Because of this, many struggle to attain economic security and financial well-being for themselves, their families, and their communities.

To overcome language barriers, Teach By Tech has designed ELL vocational trainings, digital literacy and financial literacy programs and workshops which are linguistically appropriate and culturally sensitive to the refugee and immigrant population residing in our community.
