Grant Researcher/Writer We are looking for a dedicated grant writer to research and write grant proposals for our organization. The grant writer will research and write coherent, organized, and compelling proposals. You will apply your knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals. You will collaborate with the Executive Director to assist with other fundraising projects and develop relationships with key stakeholders. To ensure success you will need to write well, have proficient knowledge of fundraising methods, and be committed to the mission you are representing. Preferred applicants are deadline-driven team players with outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Responsibilities: Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders. Displaying adherence to the organization’s mission. Maintaining proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs when researching appropriate grants. Assisting with the execution of the development department's strategy. Identifying grant funding opportunities. Writing, submitting, and managing grant proposals. Furnishing prospective funders with supporting documents. Collaborating with Executive Director and Fundraising Coordinator to send funders newsletters. Collaborating with the Executive Director to compile an annual report. Maintaining records in hard copies and computer databases. Requirements: Creative writing or grant writing related field. 2+ years of grant writing experience. Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals. Proficient with G-Suite. Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong people skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Intakes: Greeting clients when they arrive and identify their need for services. Assisting clients with completing the intake packet, making copies of their picture ID, and copying any supporting documents. Entering client information into the database by documenting the intake. Scheduling follow up appointments. Case Management: Conduct case management functions such as assessments, enrollments, documentation collection and follow-up activities as required by designated program operations. Provide support services to enhance program participants successes such as appointments to SWF clothing closet, referrals for counseling, to community resources for rent, housing, or utility assistance, employment opportunities, job retention coaching, and provide tutoring. Create Individualized Career and Financial Plan (ICFP) based on identified goals, barriers and other obstacles, program participant, and potential partnering agencies. Provide meaningful coaching opportunities to help program participants with problem solving skills, life-skills, setting priorities and identifying marketable skills.

Medical Insurance Specialist Certified coder preferred but not required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to CPT, ICD-10 coding, reviewing EOBs, posting payments, electronically submitting claims, appealing claims, correcting claims, and /or working with the client to provide details regarding pre-existing information and/or coordination of benefits. You will be responsible for producing medical billing, generating invoices, and receiving payments.
