Institute of Allied Healthcare Mission offers students quality instructional opportunities in career orientated programs & to successfully prepare students for post-secondary education in preparation for their future careers. IOAH is accredited by The Council on Occupational Education. This is viewed as a nationally-honored seal of excellence for occupational education institutions and denotes honesty and integrity. Our Vocational Nursing Program will produce the next generation of nurses focused on innovative learning to address challenges of a rapidly changing and culturally diverse health care environment. IOAH SON believes nursing is a practiced profession with a defined body of knowledge & outcomes. Nursing practice is embraced through education as holistic & caring. It incorporates & supports lifelong learning. The program embraces knowledge that promotes healing, prevents disease, restores health and provides for adaptation thru the nursing process & implementing nursing care.

Description

The Institute of Allied Healthcare was founded on October 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Our main objective is to provide career-focused education in allied health fields. The Nurse Aid Program was approved by The Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) on November 2015, and the Texas work Force Commission (TWC) in February 2016. The Medical Assistant Program was approved by TWC in October 2016. The Institute of Allied Healthcare is located in the heart of the medical center, across from The University of Texas Health Science Center.

Welcome to the 18 day Nurse Aide and 16 week Medical Assistant program. The Institute of Allied Healthcare has one of the lowest tuition rates in the city and is located in the Medical Center. We offer payment plans, financial aid and grants are available for those who qualify.
- A prospective student must be at least 18 years of age, show proof of photo Identification, social security card and high school diploma or GED.
- Our conveniently located campus offers Vocational Nursing (VN) program in the medical center area where students have the opportunity to learn the clinical and lab skills necessary to become a successful Licensed Vocational Nurse. The VN training courses offered at The Institute of Allied Healthcare are taught by our experienced instructors who come from diverse backgrounds within the medical field.
