Signature Hospice

Description

We are a new hospice and our goal is to provide patients and their families with excellent care during a very difficult time in their lives. The volunteer program is a very essential part of our team, volunteers help to provide patients companionship by doing several different activities such as reading, playing games, taking patients outside on a walk, or just by simply being there to listen. All volunteers will be thoroughly trained and orientated with all the in's and out's of our volunteer program. There are so many opportunities for volunteers at Signature hospice, if visiting patients isn't exactly what you're looking for there are several other volunteer opportunities we offer such as: working in the office, knitting, sewing, or calling patients to check on them and make sure they have everything they need before the weekend.
