Junior Achievement of the High Plains is a nonprofit that inspires and prepares young people for success through the teaching of financial literacy, personal finance, and entrupentreuship.

Description

JA was started in Amarillo in 2008 only serving 497 students at Palo Duro High School during its first year. JA of The High Plains has since grown to serve schools in CISD, AISD, River Road, and many of our outlying districts. We believe in the boundless possibility of young people and empower them to reach their goals by teaching skills such as personal finance, career mapping, soft skills, and beyond.
