We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with office work at our hospice. As a volunteer in this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our hospice team in providing compassionate care to patients and families. Volunteers will assist with a range of office tasks such as answering phone calls, organizing files, data entry, and preparing mailings. Volunteers may also help with special projects and events as needed. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with basic computer skills. Previous office experience is a plus but not required. Volunteers should also have strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with patients, families, and hospice staff. Volunteers will receive training on hospice services and policies and will have ongoing support from hospice staff. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are interested in supporting their local community and gaining experience in a healthcare setting. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular schedule of at least 2-4 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months. Scheduling is flexible and can be arranged based on the availability of the volunteer.
