Founded in 2018, Tallahassee Live Music Community Charity Group (TLMC) is a non-profit organization committed to bringing the arts to the center of community life. It accomplishes that mission by hosting live events, hosting arts lessons, and offering memberships with benefits such as artist development assistance, consulting, and recording credits. These programs help to fund free performing arts lessons in music, dance, and theater as well as apprenticeships in sound engineering, light engineering, and stage management for at-risk youth in the Big Bend Region, enriching their lives through artistic expression and providing them with the experience to pursue a viable career in trades in the performing arts industry. Initiatives focus on arts education in Title I schools, arts education for incarcerated youth at the Leon Regional Juvenile Detention Center, arts programming in the community, arts advocacy, and programs that foster artistic talent and support local, regional and national acts.
