Mission Statement

VOWS Foundation is dedicated to inspiring the youth of black and brown communities to live a life of power through trauma release methods, gain awareness through emotional education exercises and learn empathy through community outreach and volunteerism.

Description

We have been serving Richmond,VA since 2021.We hope to change the world one mind at a time. We start with the youth through program and events. We have a pantry at Armstrong High School open Monday-Friday for students to come and get all the clothes, shoes and hygiene products they may need. We host community cleanups where youth learn the power of what you see in your environment daily. We have a summer program with fun activities every week to build life skills. We host our annual Juneteenth Jamboree & 5K in memory of Omontre Stevenson and have a Back to School Bash not long after for free school supplies.
