CRMTour’s mission is to educate the public on the importance and the historical and continuing significance of the civil rights movement in the United States, and around the world.
The Civil Rights Museum Tour will provide engaging and educational tours of civil rights landmarks and museums. The bus tour, which starts and ends in Washington DC, will include stops in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Experts in the US civil rights movement will lead the tour, emphasizing the multi-dimensional, multi-racial and international aspects of the nonviolent movement including the unique bond between Dr. Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi. The Tour ends with a Leadership Academy where participants will be invited to participate in a discussion about their experiences on the Tour.
