To provide high-caliber fire protection and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Frederick County, Maryland.
Over 90 years, volunteers have provided fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to residents throughout Frederick County, Maryland. Volunteers are trained and work alongside career fire and rescue personnel in the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Service. Frederick County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services encompasses 25 volunteer corporations and covers approximately 664 square miles. Collectively our combination service (career and volunteer) responded to 40, 972 calls in 2022.
