The purpose of this organization is to operate, maintain and preserve the Polk Home, its grounds, properties and collection. We strive to educate the public about the life, times and legacy of James K. Polk.
Description
We are a site that houses multiple buildings including a visitor's center, The Polk Home, an kitchen building, exhibit hall and gardens. We hold a variety of programs including fundraisers, membership events, homeschool days, summer camps and more.
