Through meetings, workshops, panels, guest speakers, and outreach events, our mission is to draw and leave a legacy together as professionals who are interested in promoting gender equality within our community and society at large. WAC aims to support all work that has made an impact in our world and we constantly fight the issues of mental health that prevail in our lives today. We focus on educating women, men, boys, and girls from all backgrounds so that we can then turn our attention to cultural, social and relational issues that are important to everyone’s emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. We hope to empower all through a myriad of expressional outlets (e.g., storytelling, social media, digital, poetry, dance, songs, and activism).
As our global non-profit charity organization continues to grow, we hope to connect with more like-minded people to raise importance to gender, mental health, and social justice issues. We envision and push forth the agenda that gender-related topics will be more openly and comfortably addressed in regular daily conversations/dialogues in order to diminish injustice acts, stigma, prejudice, bullying, stereotyping, harassment, hate crimes and taboo.
