We honor the stories and sacrifices of men and women who became gallant defenders of Bataan and Corregidor and especially for those who fought throughout the Philippines in WWII.
We have a monument located in Kissimmee, Florida. Rendered in bronze, the life sized statue consists of three figures: an American G.I. and a Filipino soldier propping each other up while a Filipina woman offers water and solace during the gruesome Bataan Death March. The monument has become the centerpiece of the annual Filipino-American friendship day recognizing the strong friendship that developed between the two countries (Philippines and America) as a result of the hardships of war. Our hope is for descendants of veterans, veteran/military families and/or to anyone living in the Central Florida who would like to be a part of our mission to serve and educate our community about this very crucial part of history.
