This opportunity is ideal for those interested in digital media and community engagement, and possibly for college internships. As our Digital Outreach and Engagement intern or volunteer, you will be actively involved in developing strategies to engage Transition Trails’s online communities by improving social media presence, developing content and messaging, and planning creative ways to get our name and message out there. You will collaborate closely with our team to use the power of social media to enhance Transition Trails's presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES: Use social media strategically to increase message and brand Develop, monitor, and manage online communities Create new written and visual digital content Create social media campaign initiatives and execute them across a variety of a platforms Track impact/engagement, and strive to improve through SEO best practices Perform other duties as assigned An ideal candidate should: Have experience working with social media platforms to promote a social justice cause Have an interest in marketing, business, public relations, or communications Be creative and able to work independently Have strong writing/editing/proofreading skills Be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects Produce high-quality, error-free work Communicate efficiently and professionally Graphic design and/or video editing skills are a plus, but not required.

SUMMARY: Do you know your way around Wordpress, Zapier, Mail Chimp, Salesforce, and Slack? Transition Trails is looking for a tech support volunteer to support our primary focus within the Salesforce platform ecosystem: providing a system of online and real world training and experience. As our Tech Support intern or volunteer, you will be actively involved in Transition Trails’s mission to empower businesses and individuals to successfully navigate the digital economy through education, mentoring, and hands-on experience. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and enhance Wordpress site (manage plugins, perform backups, add/update pages, etc.) Maintain and enhance Google workspace administration to support our non-profit and our program participants (new users and groups, Drive management, etc.) Maintain and extend the Zapier connections between Wordpress and Salesforce An ideal candidate should: Be creative and able to work independently Be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects Communicate efficiently and professionally Why You'll love volunteering for us: Enhance your skills while supporting a cause you care about Gain samples of work & references to add to your portfolio Directly impact the changing workforce in America Work remotely & create your own schedule
