Mission Statement
The mission is based on three values : Community, Diversity, Solidarity. It consists in empowering Community Development of a vulnerable neighborhood of Barcelona. Activities are multiple depending the season but it is dealing with : - Weekly Foodbank - Community events organization - Kids holidays activities - Sociocultural Workshops - Bank of time - Homeless attention - Familiar events - Sociolaboral insertion

By actions of community building, our NGO promotes diversity and solidarity between citizens throughout the organization of :
+ A weekly foodbank
+ Communitarian meals
+ Gardening organic vegetables
+ Spreading food to homeless people
+ Organizing activities for kids during holidays
+ Organizing community events and workshop every week

EnriquezArte is a very diverse space where you share your knowledge, your culture, your projects, your gastronomy, and much more, and therefore you also receive and learn everything that derives from the above. For me it has been like my traveling home, where I live with people from all over the world, and therefore I am enriched every day to share lunch, to develop a project, to go for a walk, to attend a workshop and many more moments.
I love it because you also learn to "relearn", to overcome your fears, to take risks, to accept your mistake or error, and therefore not to judge or feel judged, such

A transformative experience. I stayed in Enriquez for three months and I will never forget my stay there. I've met incredible people from all over the word. EnriquezArte offers many different amazing classes and workshops. I’ve learned a lot about myself! It’s a truly unique community experience, I can only recommend this magical place !

It is such a life experience. I have learnt of each person I met in Enriquezarte. In all the activities and events you have the chance to challenge yourself sometimes by doing something you have never done before, afterwards you realise you did it and very good!
You can actually practice the collaboration and the team work. You are more aware of the others and how import is to be aware of our social skills.
I’m grateful to have the chance to be part Enriquezarte history and for let me participate in their program.

Being part of the EnriquezArte community has been a very interesting and rewarding experience. It has allowed me to develop certain skills (teaching, cooking), as well as discover new ones (gardening, climbing). It has also been an efficient way to improve my spanish. Daily life is full of new experiences, feel-good activities (sport, yoga, meditation) and great food!
I highly recommend coming to EnriquezArte to anyone who wants to break their routine, help others, make new friends and discover Barcelona.

Working in enriquezarte is very rewarding. It had a very positive impact on my personal development. The volunteers are very nice and caring, Living in a community helps you to accommodate yourself to the community advantage, it promotes empathy and understanding cultural differences.
As for the skills or knowledge I gained from participating in such a program, it can vary depending on the specific tasks and responsibilities, but generally, it provides valuable experience in areas such as: interpersonal skills, empathy and emotional intelligence, teamwork and collaboration and adaptability.

I am very happy to be a part of the enriquezArte-programm. It is a place where people with different backgrounds come together and create a safe-space for creativity, mindfulness, joy and community. You are able to discover yourself, your strengths and passion individually within living together and support each other. What I also really enjoy is starting so many different new activities and projects while being here. Like trying new sports (climbing, martial, arts, dancing), organizing events or teaching each other.
As a conclusion, outstanding for me is the great spirit of solidarity and support. You can feel that everyone loves what they are doing and a special place is created.

I had a memorable experience, I really enjoyed meeting volunteers from another countrys and share knowledge of life in general. The life in community has a few obstacles to overcome but none is impossible.
The environment is quite nice and I had the space to express myself and to be able to propose different types of ideas and projects.
I really enjoyed when we shared lunches, meanwhile talking and getting to know other people even more.
In general, it was a great learning experience, not only about community life and teamwork, but I was also able to get to know myself even better.

Enriquezarte fue una experiencia maravillosa para mi! Aprendí muchas cosas sobre mi misma que no sabía, hice tareas que nunca imaginé que haría y lo mejor de todo es que aprendí a vivir en comunidad. Me quedo amigos para siempre que conocí allí! Fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida y sin lugar a dudas un antes y un después. Gracias a todo el equipo por ser tan amables y cariñosos, estarán siempre en mi corazón.
