Description
HISTORY Perfect Piece of the Puzzle, Inc., was founded in September 2016 with the hope of helping families of individuals with developmental disabilities. This organization stemmed from the efforts of Trishia Bermudez, our founder, to understand how and where to go for support/services for her son. The harsh reality was that there was a lack of information and resources to help her along her journey and this became the impetus for her to leverage the knowledge gained from her resolute research, to positively impact the lives of similar families. Knowledge sharing, guidance, and compassion. Supporting your family and investing quality giving our children a better chance at life.
PROGRAMS As an organization, we strive to provide informational support and access to resources to families of people with disabilities. We seek to accomplish this by providing families with guidance, direct support, and awareness of resources that focus on servicing the educational, medical and cultural arts/recreational needs of people with disabilities. Through continuous networking and the support of state and city officials, as an organization, we have acquired exposure and access to service providers that directly serve communities with disabilities. Our goal is to serve as a channel of access and awareness to the families we work with. Our programmatic work consists of three core means of services centered on educational support sessions, medical access/resource networking, and direct exposure to cultural arts and recreation.
