BOOKMOBILE FREDERICKSBURG

Description

Launched in 2021, we are a growing organization that operates two bookmobile vehicles throughout our service area. We work with schools, community organizations, local governments, churches, neighborhoods, and more in order to get free books into the community. We give out more than 2,000 free books every single month through a 4-5 events every week. We recently launched a literacy campaign to get students in Fredericksburg reads and writing outside of the classroom, and we're excited to bring these student-centric programs to more schools in our area in the coming months.
In 2023, we're looking forward to expanding our team, creating new and exciting programs, building our funding base, and getting thounsands of books into the hands of those who need them. We look forward to working with you!
