Mission Statement

Harrisburg Families United's mission is to inform, inspire, and empower parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, while generating widespread public awareness of the importance of opportunity in K-12 education. We help families discover the traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, online, and home education options available for their children to experience learning environments where they can thrive, succeed, and enjoy school. We support schools and homeschool organizations in planning community events and activities of educational significance for K-12 education, partner with nonprofit organizations to organize school fairs and awareness events, and amplify online enthusiasm for school choice among Harrisburg residents and surrounding communities.
