At Caris Hospice, our Special Project Volunteers play a vital role in providing warmth, comfort, and joy to our patients through handmade gifts. These volunteers create beautiful, heartfelt items like blankets, crocheted hats, scarves, prayer shawls, and more. Every patient who enters our care receives a welcoming gift - a cozy blanket and a stuffed animal - both lovingly crafted by our dedicated volunteers. These thoughtful items bring smiles to the faces of our patients and their families, offering a sense of comfort during a challenging time. In addition to year-round gifts, some of our volunteers create seasonal items, such as holiday ornaments and Veterans Day goodie bags, ensuring that each patient feels remembered and appreciated. We invite you to become a part of our compassionate volunteer community at Caris Hospice. Your skills and creativity will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. Together, we can brighten their days with something truly special!

This position has a very small time commitment, but makes a HUGE impact. Caris Healthcare is a Hospice agency serving the greater St. Louis area, including St. Charles and St. Peters. You would also have the opportunity to spend time sharing stories and providing companionship, if you so choose. The time commitment is minimal and you can plan your visits according to your own schedule. There is a special sense of comradery that only YOU can provide to our Veterans. Call today to learn more!
