Mission Statement

Description
Protecting animals is what we do here at National Canine Advocacy Group. We are creating social change in how dogs are perceived and treated in our country and need your support!
Our Canine Community program focuses on outreach and education through social media, web-based content, and in-person community events. With excitement, in 2023, we will be rolling out the Canine Community Pledge and our Canine Community Gatherings as part of this program. Social change starts with community involvement, so that’s an essential component of our work.
Our Canine Connections program concentrates on detailed research on topics such as the efficacy of animal rescue organizations, the movement of dogs around the country and implications for behavioral impacts and disease transmission, trends in animal welfare policy, and much more. In 2023, we will begin publishing educational newsletters, articles, and blogs and continue engaging in public speaking to further social change.
Finally, our Canine Coalition program is being developed to bring together animal welfare advocates from around the country to share best practices and support the efforts of every member organization.
Our work requires not only funding but also volunteer support so, if you cannot donate, please consider volunteering!
Thank you from the dogs!
