Naptown Jazz Kids is an arts education and performance nonprofit organization that transforms young lives, offering education programs, community engagement and musical training for students of all ages. Internationally renowned jazz performers teach alongside our professional staff, offering students a variety of creative programming that helps develop character, leadership, musical potential, life skills, and helps strengthen academic performance. Through music, mentoring, education and training, Naptown Jazz Kids cultivates tomorrow’s global citizens so they may help create vibrant communities.

At Naptown Jazz Kids, we believe that understanding and learning to appreciate, create and improvise through jazz, America’s original art form, produces
lifelong benefits that every child deserves. We feel that music creates friendships, unions and builds communities. We put these core beliefs into practice by enhancing and expanding jazz education throughout the greater Annapolis area through education, performance and community service opportunities for students.
