Our Vision is to fight food insecurity by serving and caring for local families, individuals, veterans, elderly, the sick, widows, teens, and treat our fellow humans with respect, kindness, love and compassion.
Description
Kindhearted Krew is part of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
We are a Free Food Pantry, Free Clothing Pantry and so much more. We are committed to helping our community. This Food Pantry Ministry began in 2012 and has grown into an integral part of the community.
We provide food for individuals/families in need, due to financial hardship. We provide clothing for all: men, women and children. Clothing is gently used.
We have partnered with Kathy's Kloset to provide free formal and college/job interview clothing for high school and college students.We have some household items, such as blankets, sheets, dishes etc. If you are in need of a specific item or larger item, please ask and we may be able to put you in contact with someone who may be able to help you.We hold an annual holiday food drive for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also hold a toy drive.
In 2022, We distributed 793 bags of groceries, Provided 109 Holiday meals for Easter/Thanksgiving and Christmas Collected 154 new toys for 17 families and 40 children, None of this would be possible without any of you! From the bottom of our hearts "THANK YOU" !!!!!!!!!
