Mission Statement

Santuario de Karuna is home to 50 residents representing 12 different species. Our residents were rescued from neglect, abuse and abandonment ~ most came to us directly from animal agriculture and a few were surrendered. We are a previously farmed Animal Sanctuary providing forever sanctuary to our residents. We focus on compassionate living and humane education as a means to end the suffering of the sentient beings entrapped within the system of animal agriculture.
