Mission Statement

The mission of the Two Rivers Historical Society is: To educate the public through venues that exhibit and preserve the unique history of Two Rivers. The Historical Society (supports/oversees) The Washington House, the Lester Bentley Collection, and the Farm Museum.

Description

Many volunteer opportunities abound through the Two Rivers Historical Society. From fundraising and event planning to general building maintenance and graphic design. Is organizing files your forte'? Or would you enjoy entering information into a database? We have opportunities for docents, museum greeters, ice cream shop attendees and many other volunteer activities.
One of our past, and very successful fundraising events was "Chairs for Repairs" which will be held this year in September 2023. We also host an annual rummage sale and ice cream social, anticipate being much more active with the community and appreciate having more volunteers join us to support the wonderful history of Two Rivers!
