Mission Statement
The mission of Adult Basic Education in Minnesota is to provide adults with educational opportunities to acquire and improve the literacy skills needed to become self-sufficient and to participate effectively as productive workers, family members, and citizens.
Description
School Type: public. program providing English language skills to adults at various English language proficiency levels and from various different cultures. Volunteers work with a supervising teacher that provides lessons and guidance working one-on-one or very small groups. Many ESL training opportunities online or in person through Literacy Minnesota.
