Description

NAMI Oregon is an independent, Grassroots organization, one of 50 state organizations that comprise the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental illness and for their families and other loved ones through education, support, and advocacy. We offer classes, support groups, and workshops through our 16 local chapters across Oregon, both in person and online via Zoom.

We also shape statewide and local public policies that affect mental health services. We do this by sharing our personal experiences with government officials and community care providers in the hopes of helping them understand what it’s like to be a person with mental illness navigating these systems of care.
