Mission Statement
PiPE’s mission is to partner with houseless, street-dependent, and marginalized survivors to reduce harm, provide opportunities to heal from trauma, fight systemic oppression and build lasting connections for our community.
Description
Partners in Prevention Education (PiPE) works with unhoused and unstably housed survivors of violence. We have a drop-in center where folks can get basic needs met and be in community with each other, survivor advocacy where we can support folks in meeting their goals around healing, support groups, therapy and more. We are starting an Eviction Prevention Program, and working closely with other agencies on a new program to support youth. Our programs prioritize BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, as they are some of the most impacted by violence and poverty..
