Laguna Middle School

Mission Statement

Laguna Middle School is home to over 800 students in 7th and 8th grade. Students come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Volunteers are needed to serve as positive adult mentors for both academic skills and social and emotional skills. Currently the volunteer blocks of time are in two hour blocks. That time can be extended or decreased to match a college student's schedule. We look forward to having additional compassionate adults ensure the success and skills of our student body. All volunteers will go through volunteer protocols set in place by the San Luis Coastal Unified School District office. Volunteers will be under the direction of teachers, counselors, administrators, and members of the classified staff.
