The Oakland Museum Women's Board (OMWB) is a California non-profit, public benefit corporation whose sole purpose is to provide services and funds to the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA).
The OMWB organizes and hosts the "not-to-be- missed" annual event known as The White Elephant Sale (WES). With nearly 1000 volunteers contributing countless hours to sell millions of donated items, the OMWB has raised over $30 million dollars in support of OMCA. Fundraising proceeds underwrite OMCA’s educational programs and exhibitions, as it has for over 60 years.
