Description

Emanating from an informal group formed in January 1994, our organization incorporated in May 2020, soon after COVID-19 wreaked havoc worldwide. We exist to enrich lives of Black women by offering a sanctuary of unconditional belonging and applied values. We do so through offered educational and professional development, as well as other consequential programming. For nearly thirty years, we have enriched lives through our unique organizational structure that does not require the usual demands associated with membership in organizations. Our past programming has focused on Civil Rights, Black culture, history, and health, offered through shared learning. Our 2023 - 2024 programming focuses are leadership, adult and youth financial literacy, charitable giving, and health equity, among others. Our overarching goal is to broaden our community impact by touching more lives, positively, and establishing chartered chapters.
