Hello, We are the Da Vinci Institute, a recently established Seattle-based educational 501(c)(3) led by University of Washington and local high school students with the mission of making education more accessible around the world. As our first step to enable us to more efficiently communicate information to the community and organize resources, we are looking to develop a website. However, while we do have students with very basic knowledge of web development, the website we are looking to develop has some more complicated features that I don't think we have the necessary experience or knowledge to undertake. Some of these features include: login and account incorporated with organizational email embedded forum system connected to account online courseware (allowing for new resources to be constantly uploaded) Because of this, we are hoping that some more experienced web developers in the community could volunteer to help us out in developing our website, given a completed design. Currently, we are deciding between a MERN stack or NextJS frontend and NodesJS backend, but this is flexible depending on which stacks will best work for the team and our goals. While we do not have a firm deadline for the website, it would be great to have at least a prototype of the website running and up by the end of this year, as it would allow us to greatly expand our reach for our events and lessons in the following year. Regarding the design of the website, we do have a firm plan on the basic layout of the design that we are hoping to achieve, specifically regarding the landing page, that we believe best fits with the message we are hoping to convey to the community. We are currently working the design out in Figma and will share the work as development begins. Please let us know if you are able to help out. If you have any further questions regarding the project, please feel free to reach out to us at info@davincirenaissance.org. Any help would be greatly appreciated and truly support us. Thank you!
