MISSION To transform lives by engaging Georgia high school students to reflect upon and express their personal values through an essay contest. VISION The Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest is in every Georgia high school with strong partnerships among Rotary, schools, districts and teachers to provide the opportunity for students to reflect upon their lives, express personal beliefs and affirm strong character values through writing. STRATEGIC VISION Believing in the power of quotes and maxims or Laws of Life, that if lived by would make the world a better place, Sir John Templeton created the Laws of Life Essay Contest. The Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest remains committed to the vision of encouraging young people to embrace the wisdom of these sayings and live their best lives.

Description

The Georgia Rotary Clubs Laws of Life Essay Contest the sole program of the Georgia Rotary Districts Character Education Program, Inc (GRDCEP), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, is an annual character education and ethical literacy program offered to more than more than 40,000 students in grades 9 th - 12 th from over 70 high schools throughout the State. Our mission is to promote and build character values and ethical literacy among high school students in Georgia.
