Los Niños Primero has entered its third decade of providing high-quality school readiness to our Latino preschoolers and their families. The program began with 17 children in 2001, and in Summer 2021, we served over 300 students. We know that our services positively impact Latino families, the public schools, and, most importantly, the students we serve.

For twenty-two years, Los Niños Primero has provided educational support for underserved, Latino preschool students, youth, and their families. Our programs are offered in Fulton, Gwinnett, DeKalb, and Clayton County. We prepare children, youth, and parents to flourish in our public school system. The preschool children receive instruction in a rigorous, Summer Academic program and year-round Saturday School sessions. Leadership and civic engagement programs are offered to our youth and adults.

Our organization stays connected to families and students throughout their childhood with supplementary arts, dance, orchestra, chorus, karate, swimming, and soccer programs. The extracurricular activities we offer our families engage the students and provide a sense of community. From age five, the students and their families are supported and encouraged to participate in these enriching activities. All of the extracurricular activities promote creativity, self-confidence, and a greater sense of belonging to the Atlanta community.
