Pet Therapy Volunteer (Hospice)

The Pet Therapy Volunteer will serve as a team (owner/handler and dog) visiting pre-selected patients to provide comfort and promote healing and recovery. Dogs must have completed a certified pet therapy training program, approved by Accentcare and successfully complete a behavioral screening. If you do not have a pet we have a sweet dog that may accompany you at the owners discretion.

You will volunteer in an office setting helping to make phone calls to patients and families once per week, make binders, copies and various other clerical duties. We will provide training.
