A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, CONVENIENCE AND COMFORT TO THE PATIENTS AND VISITORS OF MEMORIAL HOSPITAL JACKSONVILLE. THE AUXILIARY OPERATES THE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, INC. GIFT SHOP FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE HOSPITAL'S PATIENTS, EMPLOYEES AND VISTORS. PERIODIC FUND RAISING EVENTS ARE ALSO HELD TO RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS.

Description

Founded in 1969, this organization provides scholarships via an endowment to UNF School of Nursing, additional scholarships to nursing students at various other colleges and supports local chapters of other charities.
