Description

Change Life Organization started in 2015 and was founded by Mporanyimigabo Gerard. Our goal is to help the poorest and vulnerable children get out of the circle of poverty and have a better future. In order to achieve this we have different programs such as Education, Health, Agriculture, Economic development, Women and Youth empowerment, Environment, Water and Sanitation, Disaster relief. The organization since its foundation has reached out 3560 families in poverty and played an important role in their everyday life through our monitoring system. We have had direct impact on 485 families and their children's life has improved. We have formed and supported 26 women cooperatives that have 1072 members. We have distributed 320 rabbits to children and we have also distributed 56 piglets to children. We will continue to distribute rabbits and pigs to children. We work with and support 86 famers who rear cows, 28 farmers who rear pigs and 8 famers who have poultry farms. We have helped 290 orphans and other vulnerable children to continue their schooling. We have supported 60 widows with sewing machines where they learn making clothes. We have formed 253 village savings and credits groups and each group has 25 to 30 members. Those groups facilitate their members to have access to small loans that can help them to do their business. We work with 25 schools where 1720 school girls were given reusable sanitary pads.
