Description
History
Leanna's Closet honors Leann Anderson who was a Greeley businesswoman and volunteer who always had the needs and success of women foremost in her heart. Leann was well known for her beautiful and professional style of dress and accessories. After she died her family and friends discovered that there was not a community clothes closet for women who were trying to better themselves, specifically for entry or re-entry into the workforce. Leanna's Closet was born from the desire to meet this need and honor Leann's memory.
As an independent 501 (c) 3 Leanna's Closet continues to offer women professional clothing for interviews and job appropriate attire for current employment or for the start of a new job. Clients may also choose shoes, purses and accessories as part of their gift. We continue to work with numerous community agencies throughout Northern Colorado to help reach as many women as possible. Clothes are donated by community members and clients do not pay for the clothing they receive. Our organization is completely self-funded and one hundred percent volunteer driven. We take great pride in being able to help empower women to be the best they can be.
