United we empower the Latinx and Indigenous migrants from the South, by providing access to arts, health and food sovereignty.

Description

Centro was established in 2016 as a grassroots organization formed and lead by migrants, students, mothers, workers, professionals from different backgrounds. We have been the strongest advocates for the immigrant rights as Human Rights, bringing awareness during the Sanctuary law campaign and the bilingual COVID19 campaign for bringing information about prevention and health access.

Our projects are: Know Your Rights-Community Outreach events, Sister Flower (for cultural revitalization of dances and indigenous root knowledge), Sanctuary Gardens and La Semilla Communications (communications from Centro by TV, Radio and social media)
Our methodology includes arts, technology, culture and bilingual networking.
