Do you have organizational and administrative skills? If so, you are just what we are looking for! Office Volunteers become an important part of our team, by assisting with administrative and clerical tasks. This helps keep our staff organized, and keeps us focused on providing excellent care to our patients. Join us in our friendly office to assist with our administrative work. Monday-Friday, with flexible hours. Current needs include volunteers to help with filing, data information, answering phones, photocopying, and assembling document packages, among other things. All training will be provided.

Comfort Hospice of Las Vegas is looking for volunteers who have a passion for sewing. Create a keepsake for our bereaved families after the death of a Comfort Hospice patient. This volunteer opportunity is incredibly rewarding, and offers comfort and support for our bereaved families when they are needing it the most. Patterns and materials are provided at no cost to you. You can increase the quality of life of patients, and their families, who are affected by a terminal diagnosis. Even better, you can volunteer all over the Las Vegas area, at our local office, or even from your own home. We are currently training volunteers to be Direct Care Patient Volunteers These volunteers will visit patients in their homes, or facilities, to provide companionship and support all across the Las Vegas area. Comfort Hospice of Las Vegas is committed to our mission to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and their entire family. Some of our patients are spending the final weeks, days, and hours of their lives alone, without family and friends nearby. Although they become part of the Comfort Hospice family, these individuals would benefit from your companionship, and supportive presence, at the end of their lives. Vigil Volunteers are trained to support patients in their final hours, by holding their hand, providing reassurance, creating a peaceful environment through music and aromatherapy, and offering support throughout their transition. You will receive full hospice volunteer training, and specialized Vigil Volunteer training. All volunteers with Comfort Hospice complete a basic physical and background check, paid for by Comfort Hospice.
