Mission Statement

Establishment:The Palestinian association for culture and science has been established since April 25th /1998.Objectives of the association:1. Seeking valuable knowledge for people.2. To promote culture and democracy.3. Participating in educational development where it insures the Palestinian heritages.4. Enhancing and activating heritage and protecting the social fullfilness principle.5. Giving a serious attention to the individuals who have scientific interests.6. Having interests in doing researches, scientific explorance ,humanity, political, gregariousness and follow-up with all the developments.7. Establishing public library where it includes all educational and scientific books.8. Publishing an educational magazine.9. Conducting periodical meetings and an educational seminar.10. Caring for children and activating women's role in the building stage.11. Participate in international activities.12. To improve people's general knowledge by means of seminars and festivals.ACTIVITIES:The association has accomplished various in the different sectors (cultural, social, and educational):1) Painting projects on walls of the city (educational and beautifying paintings).2) Helping the needed student to bay their academic fees through.3) Nominating them to the union of the non-governmental organization.4) The association has provided help to all the needy families through distributing food supplies.5) The association's major desire is to deliver cultural message and emphasize the various civilized ideas through holding alecture in the second scout group for Arab arthathosic scouting group in Gaza.6) The association has held an 18 hour health education seminar in the period of oct.3rd -7th /1998.7) The association organized acultural festival in Abu Gihad cultural center on nov.7th /98.8) The association has implored all the national and international associations to protect human rights.9) The association has conducted a seminar in the college of education concerning the man and the women role in building the society.10) The association has published various journals and educational subjects prepared by the association's members.11) The association erected acultural festival in the shajaia club where it included cultural activities, musical songs, and poems.12) Creating asport festival for the county's martyrs in the alshajaia union club.13) The association has printed and distributed 1700 book, about the appropriate ways in raising children, for free.14) "In Our association we have over than 500 of social situations who need help and our association the only one who is the Main Income Sources for them."
