Mission Statement

LEAPIN’ is committed to "Loving Each And every Person In Need."

Description

Leapin’ Outreach Center is completely run by volunteers and has been serving people in poverty in Marion since 2007.

Leapin’ Outreach Center exists to meet both the immediate physical needs and the long-term spiritual needs of people in poverty in Marion County. We desire to see people’s lives restored to God, themselves, others, and society. We currently do this by providing free clothing, household items including but not limited to bedding, towels, kitchen items and small appliances, and also personal need items, all without cost. We also maintain an emergency food supply for the homeless in what we call "one-day-kits". Families or households that meet the federal poverty guidelines may come once a month and receive the current limits of items for those living in their house or home . All of our clothing and most of our household items are donations from people in the community. We at Leapin’ understand that not all needs are physical needs, therefore the volunteers at Leapin’ are also committed to providing encouragement and spiritual support to those we serve.
