Mission Statement

Our mission is to decrease health disparities by improving the health and social equity of vulnerable populations and underrepresented groups.

Description

We believe one’s zip code or income level should not be a determinant of access to health services or social or career opportunities. Nor should it determine whether they are more likely to suffer from a chronic illness like diabetes or asthma. We provide mentorship, community education about health equity, research, and scholarships to historically underrepresented students pursuing careers in Nursing, Public Health, and other STEM professions.
