To get 1 million of our physically challenged folks and wounded veterans enjoy the game of basketball from a wheelchair within a year
"When injured members of the military return home and discover hope and healing through sports, it awaits on their realization that they can still compete on their home courts or the international stage."
Today there are 60 million+ people with disability in our country alone. I spent my entire life in developing the Basketball Return Delivery Machine (EZ Shot Wheelchair Basketball) that helps our physically challenged folks and our wounded veterans enjoy the game of basketball from a wheelchair.
I joined the US Navy in 1974 where I worked on the F-14 Aircraft Radar system and was honorably discharged in 1978. I spent a couple of years dabbling with different jobs before I found my true calling in developing EZ Shot. I have 3 patents for it
It has been physically and mentally tiring. Incompetent and misleading sub contractors delayed the project. Fighting personal and vendor bankruptcies I never gave up on my dream.
Volunteers are the bedrock of any Non-Profit. Unfortunately they are the unsung heroes. I like making personal connections with volunteers, understanding their needs, the problems that they are facing and "working together" rather than giving instructions.
I want to reach 1 million physically challenged folks and need support in fundraising, organizing events, digital marketing. Currently based in Denver I have plans to go national very soon.
