Mission Statement
In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic hit making it even more difficult for those already struggling. Many neighbors who had health issues found it challenging to utilize SNAP (formerly known as food stamps) since they had to be redeemed in-store. Also, many were temporarily laid off when Pennsylvania covid case sky-rocketed and people were struggling to feed their families. Kelly, Mike, and her team pivoted helping their neighbors more than ever before. Mission: Agape began partnering with local organizations to provide food delivery and food distribution services. On top of these regular initiatives, other programs were developed including the ongoing Sweet Teen Hygiene program, and seasonal programs to meet needs for Easter, Back-to-School, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more.
Description
After about two years of unconditional, selfless, and sacrificial giving, Mission: Agape continues to find new ways to meet the needs of the community. Co-Founders, Mike and Kelly Doyle, rely on donations to keep Mission: Agape running so they can continue this life-changing missionary work serving those in need.
