The purpose of Coded by Young Women of Color, or CYWOC, is to educate, empower, and engage young Women of Color to become innovators in emerging tech, where Black Women currently make up less than 2% of the workforce. CYWOC is dedicated to supporting members of marginalized communities to ensure they have the tools needed to succeed in the growing tech workforce.
CYWOC provides education through online classes hosted by caring and talented instructors who believe in our mission. We teach JavaScript, C#, and Unity courses, languages and technologies that ensure our graduates gain modern and relevant skills widely sought out by employers.
