Mission Statement

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour wants to sustain the growth of the women's game by providing a "Girls Only Tour" that will actively increase participation and interest in girl’s golf. Our goal is to develop equity In girls competitive opportunities while providing a venue for aspiring collegiate golfers to develop, compete and be recognized. Our tournament are designed to increase tournament participation and provide affordable, top-level tournament competition and development.

Description

Founded in 2007 by the non-profit Triad Youth Golf Foundation as a local girls' golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina, the Tour began as a simple concept from Tour Founder Robert Linville, PGA: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls in the Carolina's. The PKB Tour set out to change the landscape of junior girls' golf by utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions, instead of the traditional age-based format, and developing tournament experience at the player's pace. As the only LPGA Foundation Approved Tour, and working in partnership with LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, we aim to grow this mission across the country to ensure no junior girl golfer has to play in a boys tournament with a girls field.
