CARE Mobile is a mobile program where we travel to different independent senior housing communities and retirement communities to provide free services and activities through community support and community volunteers. CARE Mobile is looking for tech support volunteers aged 14 and up to help seniors with their devices such as phones, laptops, iPad, and computers from 10am-12pm. This volunteering opportunity will take place every Wednesday at the same location from 10am-12pm. Feel free to sign up to volunteer one time or multiple times. No certificate is needed since we only provide basic technology support. If bilingual in Chinese, Korean, or Farsi, that is a plus. If technology is your thing and you want to interact with older adults, then this is the opportunity for you to give back to the community. Requirement: 14+ years old Must be able to get to the location on their own Complete volunteer form Attend virtual volunteer orientation.

CARE Mobile, a roving onsite program works with older adults and adults with disabilities. We offer free services and activities through community partners and community volunteers. We are looking Korean bilingual volunteers to help translate information. lease let us know if you could help us with this. Requirement: 1. Must 18+ years old 2. Complete volunteer form 3. Attend brief virtual orientation Responsibility: 1. Translate information on PowerPoint to attendees 2. Translate important information during the presentation 3. Translate information on available resources 4. Help with survey distribution (will be in Korean)

CARE Mobile is a mobile program that ventures into various senior housing, independent living, and retirement communities to offer free services and activities. One of the events that we host is birthday celebrations each month for residents. We will have one birthday celebration on February 28th, followed by March 27th, April 24th, May29th, etc. Residents speak different languages, and we need volunteers to make the celebration inclusive and meaningful to residents. This is in an effort to encourage community engagement and reduce social isolation among this population. If you want to be part of this mission, then you reach out to us. This is a group and individual volunteering opportunity. Feel free to sign-up for one event or more than one. Requirement: 1. Complete volunteer form 2. Attend virtual volunteer orientation 3. Be bilingual in either Chinese, Korean, Spanish. Persian/Farsi, Russian, and Punjabi Responsibilities: 1. Translate event details as the event progresses 2. Make announcements about karaoke, food, games, etc. 3. Interact with residents 4. Help residents complete surveys in their preferred languages
