The mission of The Mother Ship is to provide social, educational, emotional, physical and mental health, and community supports to caregivers of special needs children in the Central Ohio area. We aim to change society's understanding around caregiver self-care, wellness, self-empowerment, and self-advocacy.
The Mother Ship is a 100% volunteer-operated organization who aims to bring new resources, awareness, and peer connections to Central Ohio special needs caregivers. Through fundraising, educational and peer events, self-care guidance, and small grants to caregivers, The Mother Ship helps make self-care a priority and a reality for those who need it the most.
