Dharma has to do with Life Purpose. The mission of Dharma Dreams Vocational Center is to provide real life job skills for young adults who learn differently. We inspire students to exceed their own expectations using technical training, the power of positivity, and balancing mind, body and soul in order to achieve their highest potential and their life purpose. The program starts with two programs; but the vision is to grow into something much bigger. Our Vision, for students with cognitive disabilities, is to create the most amazing program that helps students truly understand their value in this world and their life purpose. The intent is to create a nationwide program where students build confidence learning valuable job skills, while living on a campus that allows them to learn how to live independently and make lifelong connections. All of this will allow our students to thrive in traditional vocational careers and to live normal, productive, and happy lives.
Dharma Dreams Vocational Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. This is a start up program and we need your help reaching our future students and families. We need your help reaching donors. We need your help in any way you can offer it so that we can achieve our goals.
We are a special educational program designed for adults aged 18-26 who have cognitive disabilities and who have an interest in learning skills in the trades such as landscaping, painting, plastering and more. We want to give these students an opportunity to live normal and productive lives by helping them find their life purpose. That is what Dharma stands for - a calling, a life purpose. We inspire students to exceed their own expectations using technical training, the power of positivity, and balancing mind, body and soul in order to achieve their highest potential and their life purpose. We build confidence through teaching real job skills, life skills, entrepreneurial skills and by having a belief in their abilities.
