At Nova Ukraine, our Animal Welfare team believes that every-life is worth saving. Our mission is to provide essential support to animals affected by the war in Ukraine. This includes homeless animals, lost and abandoned pets, zoo and farm animals, wildlife, and more. We are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to making a positive impact on the lives of these animals. We are looking for a Video Content Creator to help demonstrate the work being done for animals in Ukraine, to communicate our mission and work with a broader audience via engaging videos. This is a rewarding position with an opportunity to show the real-time impact we are having on the ground. We would like to create weekly video reports to show our supporters the happy tails, muzzles, and whiskers benefiting from their donations. Key responsibilities: Create engaging videos for social media about the Animal Welfare program work being done in Ukraine (volunteers in Ukraine will provide video materials) Adopt the existing materials into different formats, including posts, stories, reels, and reports Collaborate with the team to develop and execute the communication strategy for the program Requirements: Video editing skills and experience in editing videos specifically for social media content Knowledge of Ukrainian is strongly preferred but not required Genuine interest in animal welfare issues in Ukraine Previous experience with social media management is a plus Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from various sources

Among other tasks are: negotiating and drafting international grant agreements both as a grantee and a grantor; drafting policies and guidelines; drafting corporate documentation; legal assistance in audit preparation; consulting employees, contractors and volunteers of the organization; consulting grantees as to compliance requirements and grant agreements provisions; coordinating legal work with international law firms and advisers regarding projects outside of the U.S.; advising and coordinating legal counsel and attorneys in the Ukrainian office with regard to the U.S. legal requirements and the organization's policies; negotiating with international partners and the state authorities of Ukraine and drafting respective legal documents. Required skills: Licensed in California; 5+ years of corporate law and/or nonprofit law in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
